The barrel is coated in a unique soft-touch matte rubberized finish — the same material used in luxury electronics — that feels extraordinarily comfortable and non-slip even during the longest writing sessions. The dual nib system provides a 2mm chisel nib for classic broad-edge calligraphy and a super-fine pointed brush nib for expressive pointed pen styles — two completely different writing experiences from one elegant pen. The ink is a water-based dye formula providing rich, vibrant color on paper with fast drying time to reduce smearing. Available in 20 carefully curated colors including earth tones, jewel tones, pastels, and neons. The Velvet Touch ink is also formulated to blend seamlessly when wet, enabling smooth color gradients and ombre effects across letterforms. Works on smooth cardstock, watercolor paper, envelopes, and kraft paper. Refill system available for extended use. Comes with a brief tutorial card for the chisel-to-brush technique.
